We Remember: Remembrance Day 2020
They shall not be forgotten.
They shall be remembered.
On the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month.
Their pain is something we may not understand.
Yet we can try.
We can do more than try.
We can remember them.
We can honour them.
Their sacrifice and selflessness were not simply symbols.
It was bravery.
It was courage.
It was love.
It was real.
It was pain.
It was death.
For the future of our country.
For the future of their families.
For the future of humanity.
For our freedom.
Remember them.
Honour them.
Thank them.
On the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month.
And always.
Forever grateful.
I love this rendition of In Flander's Fields by the legendary artist Leonard Cohen.
Though Remembrance Day ceremonies around the world are being carried out with little to no spectators this year, we hope you still wear your poppy with pride and take the time on November 11 to observe a moment of silence. Honour and remember them.
